Butterfly Thanks

I made this card using Stampin’ Up! Timeless Textures stamp set.

The colours used were all SU colours – Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, and Real Red. Each colour was stamped off before using on the card.

For the butterflies I used the ‘fern’ from the same set, using the matching colours. Again, I stamped of each colour before stamping on the cardstock I was going to cut out.  I then sponged around the edges with the corresponding colour.

The greeting is from retired SU set Blooming with Kindness.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

The House that Stamps Built “Being Thankful” challenge

Double D “Harvest Blessings” or “Give Thanks” challenge

  1. Your are really churning out some wonderful card designs lately. I really like this one you did as well. So beautiful!

  2. Thanks so much Ina. I think the trick is to keep the cards using this stamp set very minimal. I’ve gone overboard on some, and they were not to my liking.

  3. Thanks so much Verna! I rather like this one too. There are lots of cards I’ve made that I haven’t liked but others have.

  4. Thanks so much, Darlene!
