Butterfly Birthday

This card is basically two banners – one made with patterned paper, and a slighty smaller one made from vellum.

The butterfly was cut from vellum with a die, then I used a Copic marker to color it on the back.  I then traced the outline of the butterfly (from the negative), to make a background for the butterfly.

I made a banner from Big Wishes II – from Inspired by Stamping (this has quickly become my most favorite birthday greeting!) then sponged the edges with distress ink, and popped it up on dimensionals.

Last but not least, I added some tiny pearls and colored rhinestones, then added a beautiful flower, which is also from Inspired by Stamping.

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
