First of all, I apologise for the delay between posts. The hard drive on my computer died, and I was without a computer for several days. Hubby has done a band-aid fix on it until the new hard drive arrives, hopefully in a day or two. If I disappear again, you’ll know why.
Today’s card is very simple and quick to make.
I began with a white cardbase, and added a piece of Petal Promenade from Stampin’ Up! I then added a laser cut, also from Stampin’ Up!
The birthday greeting is from Dreamerland Crafts.
Last of all, I added the Couture Creations Cut and Foil butterfly, which came with the ‘adapter set’ for my Go Press and Foil machine. I added a tiny flower on top.
And that was it. Very quick – great for a last minute card.
*A quick tip – I have a handful of the Cut and Foil elements (butterfly, feather, bodice etc) already made up in a variety of foil colours. That way when I need a card in a hurry, I have items ready instead of bringing out the machine each time.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
How we depend on our computers these days and when they crash we sure do miss them. I am glad your hubby could get it running for you until the new hard drive comes. And, thanks for sharing your beautiful card. I just love the pretty design. I really love the flowers and the beautiful die frame you used on it.
Thanks so much, Verna. I adore this paper from SU. It’s really pretty.
Oh, I hear you on the computer front, I recently buried mine and had to set up a new one, which isn’t the funnest of jobs lol. Love your beautiful card Cheryl, those flowers make me so very happy!
