Today was the first day of the much anticipated Insider class (Online Card Classes).
I’ve learned so much already, which tends to be the case – those classes are packed full of fabulous ideas!
I’ve been busily making Christmas cards to send to our troops, so I continued with that theme for this card. I did however, decide to use a blue theme. This design could be used for pretty much anything you need a card for.
This card has been entered into the Inspired by Stamping Holiday Theme challenge.
Below is the inside, also using an idea/design from the class. (That is after all, what the class is all about!)
I used a Post-It note to mask the middle of the background stamp.
==============
Stamps used:
Greeting: Dear Santa – by Darkroom Door
Poinsettia, Holly, and Flourishes: Poinsettia Flourish – by Rubber Stamp Tapestry
Background Stamp (inside): – Christmas Story by Penny Black

Okay, that’s it. Pretty simple card to make, but very effective! I’ll definitely be making more of these.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Hi Cheryl. Never read to click on the heading before. Should have as my blog was that way originally.
Like this idea. Thanks
Thanks for stopping by, Shari. Yes, it’s a great idea, isn’t it? I can’t claim credit for it, though.
Lovely card! I love your masking and the blue and white is perfect. Thanks for joining us at IBS!

Thanks so much, Leah! I loved blue themed Christmas cards, and will most likely make more soon.
Cheryl that is lovely! Simple but very effective.
Thanks Lindsay. I’m pretty taken with it myself. I can see this design being used for thank you cards, and much more!

Thanks Rose! I really love the blue. I have to admit I’ve never done blue-themed Christmas cards before, but now I love them!
You MUST find time to play along. The class is awesome!!
What a great idea to mask the inside of your card as well. Beautiful job Cheryl! Hugs, Joanna
