Adorable Baby Card

I’ve been quiet lately as I needed to take a break. Last Thursday I flew interstate to Brisbane (Australia) to spend five days doing nothing. Absolutely nothing.

The main reason I went was to catch up with some online craft friends – some I’ve known for around five years, some for about two years.

We met up at the Brisbane Craft Expo, and had a great time. It was really sad to have to say goodbye.

I bought some great craft goodies – mostly Spellbinders dies – but had to leave loads behind because of weight for the plane trip back. At $20 per kilogram overweight, it wasn’t worth the risk.

Anyway, here is my first project using one of my new dies – Spellbinders Shapeabilities Contemporary Circles. The stamp set used here is an old one – Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Gift.

IMG_2833I had intended to stamp the image in black, directly onto the white cardstock, but totally forgot. I didn’t want to wreck the whole card if it didn’t stamp properly, so added it to pink cardstock. In hindsight, white would have looked better!

I added a punched edging to the bottom, because our cardstock size in Australia is slightly bigger than that used in the US, and it looked weird.

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
