I’ve been quiet lately as I needed to take a break. Last Thursday I flew interstate to Brisbane (Australia) to spend five days doing nothing. Absolutely nothing.
The main reason I went was to catch up with some online craft friends – some I’ve known for around five years, some for about two years.
We met up at the Brisbane Craft Expo, and had a great time. It was really sad to have to say goodbye.
I bought some great craft goodies – mostly Spellbinders dies – but had to leave loads behind because of weight for the plane trip back. At $20 per kilogram overweight, it wasn’t worth the risk.
Anyway, here is my first project using one of my new dies – Spellbinders Shapeabilities Contemporary Circles. The stamp set used here is an old one – Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Gift.
I had intended to stamp the image in black, directly onto the white cardstock, but totally forgot. I didn’t want to wreck the whole card if it didn’t stamp properly, so added it to pink cardstock. In hindsight, white would have looked better!
I added a punched edging to the bottom, because our cardstock size in Australia is slightly bigger than that used in the US, and it looked weird.
