A Million Thanks

Million-Thanks

JUGS

Although effective, this was a relatively simple card to make.

The card base was stamped (in Stazon Timber Brown) with the Woodgrain background stamp from SU. I then cut a black panel using MFT’s rectangle stitched dies, and also a smaller white panel.

On the white panel I stamped flowers and leaves using Stippled Blossoms from SU. The greeting is also SU and is “Million & One”, and last but not least, the butterfly is from SU Nature’s Perfection. It was punched out with the SU Elegant Butterfly Punch – which I use all the time!

I am entering this card in the Just Us Girls challenge – Wild Card Week, which is for a girly card.

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!

  1. Thanks Verna, but there is no colouring involved. All the work is done by the stamp set!! And yes, I do love that greeting. It’s taken me forever to get hold of it. (Retired.)

  2. Thanks so much Ina! Some of those retired stamps are quite difficult to get hold of.

It seems I wait until it’s too late to get the sets I want, and then they’re gone from the catalogue. Then, because they’re retired, I’ve sometimes waited a year or more to secure the ones I really want.

I’m more vigilant these days in getting the sets I want while they’re still current!
