Hi everyone, it’s Cheryl with you today.
Today I’m sharing a shape card I created using minimal supplies, and is just a little different.
I began with a sheet of 12×12 cardstock, which I cut down to an A4 size. To do this, I cut at the 21cm point. Put the small left over piece aside.
Now cut the largest piece down to 10.5cm (on the long side). You should now have two equally sized pieces of cardstock. Score one at the half way point, which should be 15cm. Put that aside for now.
You will have one left over piece the same size as the one you just scored. Cut that piece down to a length of 13.5cm. Put the remaining piece aside – you don’t need it for this project.
Now take your base – the piece that is scored, and open it out. Lay the bracket shape die from the Elegance Collection Cutting dies set at the very bottom of the base, ensuring you only cut the front of the card base and not the back. (See image for more information.) Tape in place and run through your die cutting machine. Do the same thing for your topper.
Now you’ll cut your design paper for the decoration on the front. I cut mine 10cm by 9.5cm. Check this against your card base and topper before gluing down.
I then cut out my greeting and added it. Lastly added adhesive pearls.
