One Sheet Wonder

Hello everyone, it’s Cheryl here, and this month it’s my turn for the Couture Creations challenge.

I thought for something a little different we would do a one-sheet wonder. (Or OSW as it’s sometimes called.)  I must admit I’ve seen plenty around, but have been quite shocked by the amount of cutting involved to prepare.

To avoid that confusion and feeling of concern, I decided to do a 6.5 x 6.5 one sheet wonder. We won’t get as many cards, but it’s a good way to start if you’ve never done one before. For this challenge, I am using the beautiful Peaceful Peonies collection.

I hope you join in with me.

Above are the four cards I made from the one sheet of design paper. I also used Peaceful Peonies Ephemera, a Couture Creations die, and also one of their stamps. I will list the exact products below.  (The last card uses the leftover/reverse side from one of the die cuts – in case you are wondering what I used.)

Below is the sketch I used – it is one I created. As you’ll see, there are a few scrap pieces left over. Don’t throw those out as you may be able to use them elsewhere. Perhaps even on the inside. Or you might come up with a creative way to use them on a  card.
