Today’s card is quick and easy, and great for the man in your life.
I am loving using the Gentleman’s Emporium Collection, and have found it gives me lots of ideas.
I began this card with a craft base, then cut another layer of the same cardstock for the top. I chose a reasonably uncluttered piece of design paper to add for the main layer, and glued that down after distressing both with a distressing tool and then with distress ink. I used Vintage Photo. This helps to give it an aged look.
I then took one of the pieces of design paper that emulates a newspaper page. I tore that into a strip about half the width of my cardfront and distressed it, then glued it down.
I added the two gentlemen from the Gentleman’s Emporium Ephemera pack, then used the 4 Suits mini die which I cut out in black cardstock, and popped that slightly behind the strip.
Last of all, I stamped a greeting on some scrap dsp, then distressed it too.
I’m pretty happy with the result.
