I know I’m not alone with having some difficulty making masculine cards. I’m pretty sure that’s because we all love making feminine/girly cards where we can add lots of pearls and ribbon, glitter and other embellishments.
My dear friend Marcelle recently found this great challenge site for masculine cards (The Male Room). Hubby’s birthday is coming up in a few days, I decided to join in.
For those who like to see the inside of cards, here’s what I did:
I got a little heavy-handed with the Vintage Photo Distress Ink, but I think it’s still okay.
The car image is from Tim Holtz. I’ve had this image for many years, and can’t remember the name of it. (Sorry.) The greeting is from Inspired by Stamping and is called Masculine Tags. If you follow the link, you will see I separated the Happy and Birthday. No, I didn’t cut them, just stamped them separately.
I am entering this card into the current Male Room Challenge, which must include newsprint.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
