I recently made a baby card that I wasn’t really happy with. I’m sure I’m not the only one who does this, so I decided to make this quick post to show you what I did.
This is the original (CAS) card:
I felt the design was flat, so I stamped the circular image again, but this time on another color cardstock, partially die-cut it, then added it:
It was definitely looking better, but I still felt it wasn’t enough, particularly since this was going to be sold in the gift shop I make cards for.
This time I cut off the card front, and added it to a cardbase that matched the green on the existing card. Here’s what I finished up with:
I hope this will give you some ideas if you ever need to upscale your cards.
