Quick and Easy Card

This is a very simple card today.

I began by choosing my cardbase, then found a Copic colour to match/compliment it.

Next I took a clean sheet of white cardstock, leaving it totally flat.  Using Momento ink, I stamped one of the flowers from the Inspired by Stamping set Summer Flowers. I stamped randomly across the cardstock, placing the flowers up and down the page, in different places across the cardstock. Make sure the flowers ‘overlap’ in their position. (See above image.)

When you finish, you’ll have a sheet of flowers that look nothing like the end result!

Next roughly colour your flowers with the Copic marker. Once done, you will then cut the white cardstock into narrow pieces, giving you pieces of flowers each side of the cut piece.

You will need to use some black cardstock that has a border. I used a Martha Stewart border punch, and placed it behind the white cardstock.

Next, take another piece of cardstock, in the same colour as your base. Stamp it with your desired sentiment – I used Inspired by Stamping, Just Because Sentiments, and cut into a small banner. Finish off with a black rhinestone.

This card will take on a totally new look with different flowers, cardstock colour, and also the sentiment you use.

I made a handful of these cards (all with different sentiments and colours) and sent them off to the oncology ward, where I donate cards.

These cards are so quick and simple to make, and you’ll have a heap made before you know it!
