Simple Handmade Card

I’m very pleased to announce the image issue has been rectified.  Finally!  Thanks for your patience.

Now onto this card.

I’d been contemplating buying a Silhouette Cameo for awhile, since some friends told me how wonderful it is.  Before I could get one myself, hubby bought me one for Christmas.

Above is my first attempt at making a card using the Silhouette.  It’s very basic, but I’m pretty happy with it.

The cream coloured die-cut is what I created on the Silhouette, the rest is from my stash.

The netting was wrapped around craft cardstock which I embossed with my Cuttlebug. (Actually, this has been de-bossed. I really liked the look for this card.)  The netting was glued at the back.  I then added the die-cut which I’d stamped.  I added it with dimensionals, found a Kaisercraft flower in my stash, folded it in half, then added a button and some twine.

The greeting was stamped before adding the topper to the card base.
