Peek-a-Boo Christmas Card

I’m currently taking an online card class, dedicated solely to Holiday cards.

Today was Day 2, and was terrific.  This class highlighted background stamps.  Believe it or not, I’ve never used background stamps.  I bought one last year, but have not touched it. Well, today all that changed. The card above was my first attempt at a card using a background stamp.

We were also shown how to make this great peek-a-boo card (my term, not theirs), and although it was a little fiddly first time around, I envisage it will be a lot quicker for future cards.

This next image shows the card slightly open.  This time you can see the ‘ornament’ is inside the card, and not on the front of the card.

And last, but not least, here’s a photo of the inside:

Isn’t this a sweet card?

I haven’t made a card from our day one class yet, nor have I had the chance to make some of the other cards shown today, or used some of the other techniques.  I will try to catch up soon, and post for you to see!
