Christmas Bauble Card

Easy Christmas Card

I made this card for a challenge on Stamp TV.

I’m a fairly new member there, and thought this would be a fun way to break in.  (FYI, Stamp TV is free to join.)

This really was an easy card to do – first I took a square card.  It doesn’t have to be square, that’s just what I chose to use this time around.  Then I took a sheet out of the Kaisercraft Christmas papers, and cut it down to size.

The challenge was to create a card to a sketch, and what you see above is what was needed.  Click the first link on this page and you’ll see the exact sketch.

The green card on the top has been cut down to the correct shape – I did this by cutting a square then using a reel of double sided tape to get the correct shape. (Yes, really!)  Then I embossed it with a new Christmas embossing folder, (details below), which I’d received that very day.  It fitted perfectly for this project.

Next I stamped a Christmas bauble using Versmark, then embossed with gold embossing powder.  Add some gold ribbon and a matching bow.  Next added some pearls, and last but not least, I added a poinsettia flower with a dab of yellow glitter glue in the centre.
