I decided I wanted something very different for this month’s Mix It Up challenge, so went looking to see what I could find. There were tons of ‘gatefold’ videos on YouTube, but I came across one that really caught my eye. It was a diagonal gate fold.
I am not going to go into details, but instead I’ve posted the video below. I came a bit unstuck with the diagonal pieces for the panels, so I suggest you watch those bits carefully. That way you won’t make the same mistakes I did. (Read as: totally stuffed them up!)
I encourage you to join in this challenge, but you might decide to be a little less adventurous than me. I can categorically state, this card was literally hours of work! (You can get some other ideas from the DT’s at the challenge blog, or check out my Pinterest page for Special Folds.)
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
It’s gorgeous Cheryl and would be very special to receive.

Thanks so much, Linda!
Beautiful designed and unusual gatefold card. I really love it. And, the papers you used are perfect together.
